Job Title: Highway Concrete Carpenter

Veit & Company Inc is seeking a skilled Highway Concrete Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to highway heavy concrete carpentry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Erect and set forms for concrete structures, foundations, bridges, and boardwalks
  • Work with EFCO forms, gang forms, and other materials
  • Travel regionally (80%) and occasionally overnight
  • Assist with placement of concrete as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • At least two years' experience in formwork/concrete construction
  • Ability to follow safety precautions and work with heavy equipment
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Ability to work 8-12 hour days, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends
  • Flexibility regarding work hours and willingness to travel
