We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Hermitage Health Center.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents, supervising nursing assistants, and ensuring the highest level of quality care is maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with industry regulations and guidelines.
- Verify that all nursing personnel comply with written policies and procedures.
- Participate in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the facility's quality assurance program.
- Administer medications as ordered by physicians, verify resident identities, and maintain accurate records.
- Perform physical assessments, deliver resident care, and respond to call lights and other resident needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, residents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document resident care, medication administration, and other relevant information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
- Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
- Good leadership qualities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, make decisions quickly, and prioritize tasks.
- Compliance with Residents' Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures.
The Registered Nurse will be subject to frequent interruptions, fast-paced work environments, and exposure to infectious waste, diseases, and conditions.
The position requires sitting, walking, standing, and lifting, with occasional bending, squatting, and reaching.
The Registered Nurse will be required to wear personal protective equipment and follow established procedures for handling hazardous chemicals and blood or body fluids.
The position is subject to call-back during emergency conditions and may require working beyond normal duty hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily.
