Environmental Laboratory Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Laboratory Director to lead our team of scientists and technicians in the analysis of environmental samples. This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our laboratory, ensuring that all samples are analyzed to the highest standards, and maintaining a safe working environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry, with experience in managing laboratory operations and staff. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
This is a full-time position, based in Rocklin, CA, and offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, this role comes with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring that all samples are analyzed to the highest standards
- Manage laboratory staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in laboratory management
- Strong background in analytical chemistry
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
