We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at SSM Health. As a RN-Emergency Department, Part Time, Evening Shift, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Care Planning: Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health and situation, and develop individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
- Triaging and Prioritization: Utilize age, developmentally appropriate, and culturally sensitive practices to prioritize and optimize patient flow, expediting those who require immediate care.
- Implementation and Coordination: Implement, coordinate, and educate to promote health and a safe practice environment.
- Progress Evaluation: Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively in a variety of formats in all areas of practice, and demonstrate leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- Experience: No experience required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA), Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), and other certifications as required by the state of work location.
This is a part-time RN position in the Emergency Department at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, working a total of 24 hours per week with an every other holiday and every other weekend rotation.
