Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Tech Orthopedics to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients. You will work closely with our nursing staff to deliver exceptional care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including turning and positioning patients, and assisting with the use of walkers, crutches, and wheelchairs.
  • Collect and process patient specimens for diagnostic testing.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care and communication.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
