Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital-Ann Arbor, Inc. in Ypsilanti, Michigan. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with complex medical and surgical conditions.
  • Insert and remove endotracheal tubes as needed.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement and patient safety.
  • Teach and counsel patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
  • Current state licensure.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of related experience.
