Job Description

ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Virtual Case Manager, you will be responsible for designing and executing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored for students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective teaching methods to accommodate the diverse learning abilities of students.
  • Employ various instructional techniques and technologies to facilitate engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, modifying teaching approaches as necessary.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and other specialists to enhance student learning and development.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians to update them on student progress and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid Special Education Teaching License or eligibility for certification.
  • Proven experience working with students with a range of learning needs and disabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive tools.
  • Understanding of behavior management techniques and positive behavior support strategies.
