Job Title: Business Adjunct

We are seeking a highly qualified Business Adjunct to join our team at the Technical College of the Lowcountry. As a Business Adjunct, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and course management for Management, Business, and Marketing courses.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach in-person at the TCL Hampton Campus
  • Maintain a high level of excellence in teaching by communicating and interacting effectively with students
  • Utilize prepared materials and assignments required for course instruction, testing, and documented student learning outcomes
  • Keep student records and adhere to course schedules
  • Use Blackboard learning management systems to communicate with students
  • Participate in the collection of student learning outcomes data
  • Assist the Business Program Director with timely notification of any course issues related to instruction
  • Conduct lectures, discussions, and other teaching activities
  • Provide students with the course syllabus/addendum and correlate graded assignments with skill and course competency
  • Submit grades, reports, and records in a timely manner
  • Remain current in the field
Requirements:
  • Masters degree with 18 hours in Management, Business, and/or Marketing
  • Previous teaching experience preferred in an online environment
  • Knowledge of Blackboard or Blackboard Ultra preferred
  • Good computer and MS office skills essential
