Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist Hospitalist to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a key member of our gastrointestinal healthcare services, you will provide comprehensive care to our patients, working closely with our team of physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient consults and urgent/emergent scopes/procedures during designated weeks
  • Manage all after-hours call during designated weeks
  • Collaborate with internal medicine residents and medical students, with opportunities to apply for academic appointments at Sidney Kimmel College of Medicine
Requirements
  • MD or DO from an accredited program
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited GI fellowship
  • Board certified/eligible in IM, GI
  • Appropriate licenses and certifications

As a member of our team, you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment, including 190 Olympus scopes, and work in a dynamic environment that values innovation and excellence. Our office and surgery center are being built at Torresdale campus, with 10 exam rooms and 3 endoscopy rooms, encompassing almost 10,000 Sq feet.
