Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northwest Health - La Porte. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Certification and Licensure
    • Must be certified as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
    • Must be licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Indiana
  • Education and Experience
    • Must have an Associate's degree in Respiratory Care from a CoARC-accredited program
    • Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be able to lift and move patients as needed
  • Work Schedule
    • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
    • Must be able to work overtime as needed
Requirements
  • Education
    • Associate's degree in Respiratory Care from a CoARC-accredited program
  • Experience
    • At least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • CRT certification from the NBRC
    • Indiana state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
