We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, evaluating outcomes and adjusting nursing care processes as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
- Perform head-to-toe assessments on all patients and reassessments as per policy, including pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
- Assess and reassess pain, utilizing appropriate pain management techniques and educating patients and families regarding pain management.
- Use the triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care to patients, accurately assigning triage categories.
- 2 years of Emergency Department experience required.
- Current RN license within the state of practice.
- Current BCLS Certification.
- ACLS Certified within six (6) months of hire.
- PALS within six (6) months of hire.
- ENPC and TNCC optional.
