Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our team at Duke Raleigh Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher) or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
  • Current registration with North Carolina State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse or current compact RN licensure to practice in the state of North Carolina.
  • BLS (or higher) certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preceptorship in an Emergency Department or clinical hours in an Emergency Department.
  • EMT or Paramedic experience.
