Job Title: Medical Specimen Collector

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate medical specimen collector to join our healthcare team at KA Recruiting Inc.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood from patients for medical testing, transfusions, donations, or research by performing venipuncture.
  • Verify patient identity and accurately label all specimens collected.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of hazardous materials and biohazard waste.
  • Prepare specimens for transport to the laboratory, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assist in patient care as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of patient information, test results, and specimen tracking.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, CLIA, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry best practices and advancements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or questions with professionalism and empathy.

Benefits:
