We are seeking a skilled Multi-Modality Technologist to join our team at Memorial Satilla Health. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic equipment, processing images, and preparing rooms for procedures.
Responsibilities- Operate diagnostic equipment and process images to ensure high-quality scans and protocol adherence.
- Assist in the primary mission of the medical imaging department by providing clinically relevant history and excellent patient care.
- Perform clerical, scheduling, transportation, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning, and other duties as needed.
- Develop and maintain multi-modality clinical competency through routine participation in cross-trained modalities.
- Follow radiation protection programs, including ALARA, to protect patients, physicians, and personnel.
- Comply with regulatory requirements for DHEC, Joint Commission, ACR, and other governing agencies.
- May supervise students under the direction of the area supervisor.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- NMTCB Nuclear Cardio Technician, or Sonography, or RDMS OB/GYN Specialty, or Ultrasonographer, or Registered Computerized Tomography Technician, or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT), or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) certification.
- 1+ year of experience in Medical Imaging preferred.
- 1+ year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging to include clinical hours from an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology preferred.
Memorial Satilla Health is a 230+ bed acute-care hospital serving the Middle-Georgia community for over 60 years. Our hospital offers key services, including an ER, Heart, Orthopedic, Surgery, Rehabilitation, Sleep, and Birthing Centers, as well as an extensive Mental Health program for seniors and those suffering with memory loss.
