Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Egg Transfer Technician. This position plays a crucial part in our operations, ensuring the efficient transfer and handling of eggs within our facilities.

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $17.20

(An additional $1.00 per hour for shifts worked between 7:00 PM and 11:59 PM, and an extra $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00 AM and 4:59 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate Embrex machinery, including pulling and leveling racks for transfer.
  • Transport setter racks to the Transfer Room and manage the loading of robotic systems for egg handling.
  • Conduct routine sanitation of Embrex equipment, including disconnecting air and power supplies.
  • Prepare egg sets using Automatic Rack Transfer machines and ensure proper handling of egg supplies.
  • Utilize high-pressure hoses for cleaning and disinfecting various equipment and facilities.
  • Manage the transfer of scheduled eggs from incubators to hatchers, ensuring quality control during the process.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas post-transfer.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Capability to maneuver a 1,500 lb. rack on wheels.
  • Must meet licensing requirements for pallet jack and/or forklift operation.
  • Experience in disinfecting equipment and environments safely.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including wet and dusty areas.
