Key Responsibilities

This temporary position involves working 40 hours per week for a duration of 89 days.

  • Perform wet mopping of floors and staircases.
  • Utilize vacuum cleaning equipment effectively.
  • Maintain and polish furniture, fixtures, and furnishings.
  • Ensure cleanliness of mirrors and both interior and exterior glass surfaces.
  • Sanitize restrooms and replenish necessary supplies.
  • Address minor wall stains, such as splash marks and fingerprints.
  • Collect and dispose of waste materials appropriately.
  • Report maintenance issues as they arise.
  • Dust and sweep floors and stairways.
  • Conduct wet mopping in small areas to manage spills.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas and equipment.
  • Unclog commodes, urinals, and drains without disassembling fixtures.
  • Clear snow from entrances and apply ice melt as required.
  • Coordinate and assign tasks to team members when necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, and understanding English is essential for following instructions.
  • A positive demeanor with strong customer service skills is required.
  • Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks, including pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • No lifting restrictions should be present.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and manage stress effectively on a daily basis.
