Position Summary:
Shift: Weekend Only - Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (7 AM - 7:30 PM)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role of the Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is pivotal in utilizing ionizing radiation to generate detailed cross-sectional images, aiding healthcare professionals in diagnosing and treating patients effectively.

CT Technologists are tasked with conducting diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations, adhering to established protocols under the supervision of a qualified Radiologist.

This position involves providing comprehensive patient care across all age demographics, including neonates, children, adults, and the elderly. The technologist is expected to demonstrate proficiency in advanced CT imaging techniques, including Cardiac and Vascular imaging, and possess a thorough understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.

Furthermore, the CT Technologist is responsible for delivering intricate technical care tailored to meet the specific needs of patients.



Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program is mandatory.


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience is required, with at least one year dedicated to CT imaging.


LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION:

Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) (CT). Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT is also required.


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Current BLS certification is necessary.
