We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team at Trinity Health. As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities:- Disinfect and clean patient rooms, common areas, and equipment to prevent the spread of infection and maintain a clean environment.
- Collect, store, and dispose of medical and biohazard waste in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Perform project work, including cubicle curtain changes, construction cleanup, floor refinishing, and other tasks as assigned.
- Prepare patient rooms and exam rooms for new patients, including disinfection, bed making, and supply replenishment.
- Interact with patients and visitors to provide directions, hospital information, and general hospitality.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and convey an attitude of acceptance, sensitivity, and caring to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Basic computer skills required, including email, mandatory education, and review of schedules, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
