Job Summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled Power Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Power Delivery department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical engineering solutions to support our company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review electrical engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments.
  • Analyze and design engineering methods to support Company objectives.
  • Guide and direct associate level engineers, technicians, and drafters.
  • Recommend alternative solutions to management in area of specialty on engineering solutions to meet business needs.
  • Maintain project timelines and budgets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college/university.
  • Basic knowledge and application of principles in area of engineering specialty.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Ability to interact favorably with project and work teams.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills involving the ability to work cross-functionally to understand requirements, present alternatives, and recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering experience specific to industrial power systems or electric utility power systems.
  • Engineering internship or other experience specific to applicable discipline.
  • Completion of internship with an electrical utility.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
What We Offer

PacifiCorp offers a competitive salary range of $76,200-$118,400, as well as an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 12.00% of salary. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health care, retirement, paid time off, tuition assistance, paid short-term and long-term disability, and paid bereavement leave.
