Adjunct Faculty Position in Philosophy

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach courses in Philosophy at the University of South Dakota's Sioux Falls campus. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Philosophy or a related field, with a strong background in teaching and a passion for sharing their knowledge with students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach courses in Philosophy, including Introduction to Ethics and Business Ethics/Ethics and Corporate Responsibility
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments
- Provide feedback and guidance to students
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
- Master's degree in Philosophy or a related field
- 18 credit hours of relevant Philosophy coursework
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The Adjunct Faculty member will be compensated per course, with a basic Master's-prepared rate of $4200 per 3-credit course or a Ph.D.-prepared rate of $5100 per 3-credit course.
