Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and consultation, while maintaining and promoting the health of patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct health assessments, identify normal and abnormal health characteristics, and develop plans of care.
- Perform invasive, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures as necessary, based on licensure and credentialed privileges.
- Lead and initiate outcome, quality, and safety improvement activities in alignment with organizational goals.
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- Two years of registered nurse, advanced practice or nurse practitioner clinical experience.
- RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days.
- APRN - Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Texas Board of Nursing.
- Magnet - ANCC Recognized Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, based on applicable patient population.
- AANP - Credentialed member, American Academy Of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, based on applicable patient population.
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA).
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA) (not required for Employee Health, Primary Care and Telemedicine departments).
- AP - Prescriptive Authority - Texas Board of Nursing.
- DEA - Narcotics License (DEA) within 6 months.
