Job Title: Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at I AM Acquisition LLC [159004].

Job Summary

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for producing periodic financial reports, maintaining an adequate system of accounting records, and implementing controls and budgets to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely payment processing.
  • Prepare journal entries, general ledger account analysis, and reconciliations accurately.
  • Provide data to the Controller to ensure completion of financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Assist with A/R and deposits, as needed.
  • Initiate and manage cost savings initiatives.
  • Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
  • Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics as requested.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required plus 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • A disciplined approach to developing and implementing standardized processes and procedures to drive results.
Work Environment

The Staff Accountant will work in a fast-paced office environment with minimal noise level.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who works well independently but also fosters an environment of teamwork.

Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Ability to travel, as needed.
