Orthopedic Specialist

The Steadman Clinic is a world-renowned orthopedic team seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team based primarily in our Frisco location. As a key member of our medical staff, you will work closely with our orthopedic physicians to provide exceptional care to our patients.
Job Description
This part-time opportunity offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including sick time, FAMLI leave, referral program incentive, and discretionary bonus program. Our ideal candidate is a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with a passion for orthopedic care.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with attending physician to conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans for orthopedic conditions
- Perform administrative tasks for the assigned practice
- Perform initial interview and assessment of patient
- Perform procedures within the NP scope of practice as directed by the supervising physician in the clinic
- Educate patients and their families on orthopedic conditions and treatment options
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Practitioner
- At least 2yrs experience, preferred
- Current state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic conditions and treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits
$50-$65 per hour DOE, plus a comprehensive benefits package including sick time, FAMLI leave, referral program incentive, and discretionary bonus program.
