Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of fire dampers in accordance with NFPA 80 regulations.
  • Complete training for Fire Damper Inspection as per our internal guidelines and certification requirements.
  • Provide thorough documentation to ensure clients meet code compliance.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support various service lines.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to review and approve inspection reports for client distribution.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting Life Safety Plans (LSPs).
  • Familiarity with tools and maintenance protocols.
  • Capability to follow inspection methods, identifying and documenting deficiencies.
  • Experience in customer service and public interaction.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong record-keeping skills for tracking inspections.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in using smartphones, tablets, and Microsoft Office for reporting purposes.

Physical Requirements:

The role requires the following physical capabilities:

  • Regularly standing, walking, sitting, and using hands for various tasks.
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Extensive travel may be required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is essential.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and background check is mandatory.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for local positions or up to 100% for travel roles.
