Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Nationwide Housing Management in Audubon, NJ.

Salary Range: $55,000-65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus. They will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor files, and reporting directly to the Accounts Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter vendor bills accurately and timely
  • Process payments as directed by senior management
  • Maintain schedules to ensure vendors are paid on time
  • Contact vendors to obtain necessary documents for invoices
  • Reconcile and review AP aging monthly
  • Update vendor information as needed
  • Maintain organized AP documentation and support records
  • Accurately process 1099s annually
Requirements
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of two to three years of accounting experience
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with multi-company organizations
