We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team at Stony Brook University. As a leading academic medical center, we offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment that fosters growth and innovation.
Responsibilities- Perform complex cardiothoracic surgeries with precision and skill
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical research projects
- Participate in the education and mentorship of junior faculty and residents
- M.D. or D.O. degree (or foreign equivalent)
- Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Eligibility for New York State License
- Experience in robotic surgery is beneficial
