Financial Manager

At Roseville Lutheran Church, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the church, including budgeting, financial reporting, and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure the church's financial stability and growth.
  • Manage and supervise financial staff, including accountants, bookkeepers, and other financial personnel.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the Finance Committee, Executive Committee, and Church Council.
  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to achieve the church's strategic goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a non-profit or church setting.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

The Financial Manager will work in a fast-paced office environment and will be required to lift and carry small packages and items. The position requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
