Job Title: Automotive Assistants & Service Managers

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking highly skilled Automotive Assistants and Service Managers to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Riverhead, NY area.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation of the repair shop, including scheduling mechanics/technicians' work, ordering parts, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, and exceeding customer expectations. The individual will also be responsible for communicating safety and mechanical issues to the store manager and relating to the customer.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of under-car repairs, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems, as well as basic math and PC skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, a sales-oriented mindset, and prior experience in products/services requiring up-selling techniques are also required.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant/Service Manager, candidates must be at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, automotive repairs/maintenance, or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
