Key Responsibilities:
As a Logistics Process Engineer, you will:
- Assess and optimize facility layouts, workflow processes, labor distribution, and material handling equipment designs for both new and existing warehouses.
- Deliver presentations and results to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
- Engage in analysis, design, and procurement for new facilities while supporting start-up operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance Expeditors' warehouse standards, focusing on modernity, efficiency, and high-quality infrastructure.
- Conduct customer analysis, providing detailed facility layouts and visual process documentation.
- Share warehousing best practices across various regions.
- Investigate emerging warehouse technologies, evaluate their relevance, and implement viable projects.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 1 to 4 years of industry-specific experience.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficient interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, comprehend, and communicate effectively.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneNote.
- A willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $72,000 to $100,000, with eligibility for bonuses. Expeditors offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
