Child Welfare Assistant

This is a role at Oklahoma Human Services where you will provide support to Child Welfare Specialists and clients in need.

We are looking for an individual who can provide administrative assistance and perform various tasks such as data entry, scheduling appointments, and arranging transportation. The successful candidate will also be responsible for interviewing clients, advising them on available services, and referring them to community resources when necessary.

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $29,600 to $34,999, depending on the level of experience. As an employee of Oklahoma Human Services, you will receive full state employee benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.

• For Child Welfare Assistant I: six months of general office clerical work or equivalent experience
• For Child Welfare Assistant II: one year of clerical experience in a governmental or non-profit social services provider environment
• For Child Welfare Assistant III: one year of clerical experience in a governmental or non-profit social services provider environment plus two years of child welfare experience

This role involves extensive travel and requires a valid driver's license and car insurance. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, providing excellent customer service to clients and colleagues alike.
