We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physical Therapist to join our inpatient team at Tufts Medical Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in the care and rehabilitation of our patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and assess patients' physical status and functional mobility to develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients with a wide range of conditions, including stroke, heart failure, heart surgery, and trauma.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote maximum patient safety and independence in discharge planning.
- Document and bill services accurately and in accordance with departmental guidelines.
- Participate in educational responsibilities of a tertiary-level acute care teaching facility.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
- Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy License required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but not required.
