Position: Senior Java Engineer with BigQuery Expertise

Position Summary

We are in search of a proficient Senior Java Engineer who possesses extensive experience in Java, Spring Boot, BigQuery, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The selected candidate will take charge of designing, developing, and sustaining high-performance, scalable, and secure software solutions. The ideal individual should exhibit a strong enthusiasm for technology and a commitment to working in a dynamic, collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities

To excel in this role, the candidate must effectively perform the following tasks:

  • Architect, develop, and maintain Java-based applications utilizing the Spring Boot framework.
  • Create and manage RESTful APIs.
  • Integrate with BigQuery and various GCP services.
  • Produce efficient, scalable, and secure code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle complex challenges.
  • Engage in code reviews to uphold code quality.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in Java development.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Education / Experience

  • At least 6 years of software development experience in Java.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Java development.
  • Experience with the Spring Boot framework.
  • Familiarity with BigQuery.
  • Experience handling large datasets.
  • Knowledge of GCP.
