Job Summary

The DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hematology/Oncology team. As a key member of our patient care services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff to ensure efficient care delivery
  • Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of nursing required
  • BSN preferred
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required
Work Environment

This is a PRN position working night shifts in our Hematology/Oncology unit at DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, Michigan.
