Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of interventional imaging services, ensuring quality imaging, patient care, and workflow.
Responsibilities- Lead the daily operations of interventional imaging services
- Ensure quality imaging, patient care, and workflow
- Monitor patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy
- Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Serve as a resource to department staff and other team members as needed
- Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching
- Provide input to staff performance evaluations
- Help position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required
- One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Radiology Tech licensure issued by the Illinois Emergency Mgmt Agency required in combination with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience or 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required
- Will also cross-train in Interventional Radiology
