About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our team at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting regular safety sweeps and reporting any hazards or incidents to management.
  • Operate various equipment and tools, including floor scrubbers, forklifts, and other machinery, in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and performing other tasks as needed.
  • Respond to spills and other incidents in a timely and effective manner, minimizing disruptions to business operations.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
