Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laboratory Accessioner to join our team at TekWissen Group. As a Laboratory Accessioner, you will be responsible for receiving and processing laboratory specimens, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specimen Receipt and Processing: Receive and unpack specimens, accurately labeling and routing them to the appropriate laboratory departments or locations.
  • Quality Control and Safety: Ensure compliance with laboratory standard operating protocols, quality control processes, and safety rules.
  • Specimen Preparation and Storage: Prepare specimens for testing, including staging, centrifugation, and storage, while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Clerical and Administrative Duties: Perform data entry, maintain accurate records, and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Supply Management: Monitor and maintain laboratory supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels and ordering as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in data entry, medical background, or laboratory testing terminology preferred.
  • Skills: Detail-oriented, flexible, and quick to learn, with proficiency in data entry and organizational abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
