Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an In-Shop Team Member. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Greet and thank every customer with a smile and eye contact, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve food to customers, including slicing meats and vegetables, and operating food preparation machinery.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning the store, small wares, merchandise, and physical plant as necessary.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register and handle cash transactions while adhering to all cash handling policies.
  • Teamwork: Foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration with colleagues to ensure excellent customer service and efficient store operations.

Requirements

  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record.
  • Computer Skills: Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft software and register skills.
  • Lifting and Mobility: Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts and be able to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shifts.
  • Temperature Tolerance: Must be able to work in a walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F.
