Job Opportunity at Lighthouse Autism Center

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Clinical Apprentice Student (BCBA Fieldwork Apprentice) at Lighthouse Autism Center.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves providing intensive 1:1 therapy and support to our clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other language delays. The successful candidate will work closely with our clinical team to assess, develop, and monitor behavior and treatment plan implementation based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Substitute for 1:1 therapists as needed, completing and maintaining Registered Behavior Technician credentialing
  • Track RBT supervision and document appropriately
  • Assist with staff training specific to client individual treatment plans, behavior plans, and RBT task lists
  • Assist with completing weekly treatment integrity checks of each therapist within the team
  • Monitor and track therapist feedback accurately
  • Manage therapist during support staff shifts and train therapists to lead group skills
  • Lead groups skills as needed
  • Complete required therapist competency checks to proficiency
  • Assist therapists in completing paperwork and data as needed
  • Assist in conducting assessments as supervised by Program Manager or Clinical Director and prep new client supplies
  • Assist with all tasks associated with central reach
  • Demonstrate creativity and a "think outside the box" attitude to provide support and achieve positive outcomes for all clients
  • Consistently build rapport with clients and families to achieve best possible outcomes
  • Attend and maintain all outside training certifications (CPI, CPR, First Aid, RBT, etc.)
  • Attend and implement feedback from weekly supervision with Program Manager
  • Assist Program Manager in prepping materials (insurance forms, parent notes, inventories, program materials, etc.)
  • Assist Program Manager with program, goal, and BIP implementation and review
  • Assist Program Manager with parent training tasks
  • Assist Program Manager with insurance report tasks
Requirements

We are looking for an individual who has:

  • 6+ months certified as an RBT
  • Enrolled in graduate courses for ABA
