Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Vibrant Living Assistant to join our team at Brightview Senior Living, LLC. As a key member of our Wellspring Village community, you'll play a vital role in creating engaging and fulfilling experiences for our residents with dementia and other cognitive care needs.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming to promote resident engagement and well-being.
- Participate in activities, such as games, painting, singing, and music, to foster social connections and community building.
- Encourage residents to participate in activities and programs, promoting a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive environment that values resident autonomy and dignity.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of resident-centered care plans, ensuring that each individual's needs and preferences are respected and addressed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., gerontology, recreation therapy, or a related field) preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with seniors, preferably in a dementia care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on resident-centered care.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Competitive salary range: $18.50-$21.25/hour.
