Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Therapist to provide integrated outpatient mental health treatment services to individuals in need. As a Therapist with Adapt Integrated Health Care, you will work closely with our team to promote recovery, resiliency, wellness, independence, and safety for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage and respond in crisis intervention
  • Facilitate access for mental health treatment
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including informed consent, advocacy, and integrated care
  • Assist with access to community resources
  • Facilitate development and retention of natural and community supports
  • Provide appropriate individual, group, and community psycho-education
  • Actively work to reduce stigma, barriers, and to build a community foundation for success

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in psychology, social work, or related field with experience in a mental health setting
  • Licensed providers preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form
  • Knowledge of psychological theory as well as principles and practices of mental health treatment, especially those pertaining to crisis intervention
  • Strong planning and time management skills, including being flexible and adaptive
