Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Airgas. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to our customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload compressed gas cylinders from our vehicles to customer locations.
  • Delivery and Pick-up: Deliver compressed gas cylinders to external and internal customer sites, and collect empty cylinders or rejected merchandise.
  • Customer Service: Establish and maintain good customer relations, listen to and resolve service inquiries and complaints.
  • Communication: Provide timely communication to our managers and customers regarding any changes or issues experienced during deliveries.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any deficiencies and ensuring all safety items are in good working order.
Requirements
  • Valid Class B Driver's License: A valid Class B driver's license is required for this role.
  • Medical Examiner's Card: A valid Medical Examiner's Card is also required.
  • Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications: Hazmat and airbrake certifications are required, or the ability to acquire them as a condition of employment.
  • Driving Experience: A minimum of one year of prior Class B professional driving experience within the last five years, with a clean driving record.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
