About the Role

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a skilled Panel Assembler to join our team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing electronic panels, ensuring high-quality products that meet our stringent standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test electronic panels according to detailed work instructions and quality standards.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Package and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain a basic understanding of quality and productivity standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in electronics or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to listen, comprehend, and follow technical instructions, with a strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently, with the ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Word processing and spreadsheet skills, with experience in electronic assembly and testing.
  • Assembly experience, with knowledge of electronic components and circuitry.
