Assembly Operations Specialist

About the Role
This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and grow with a dynamic organization like Collins Aerospace. As a Mechanical Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to calibration, assembly, and quality control. You will work closely with experienced technicians and supervisors to ensure seamless production processes and high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate test stands to check nozzles, spray bars, and valves for spray quality, angle, and flow according to specifications.
- Learn how to set up and operate laser markers and printers according to procedures and specifications.
- Record spray parameters by serial number and certify product conformance through test and records performance results by serial number.
- Disassemble, repair, and assemble products according to specifications.
- Accurately complete production documentation and perform necessary labor transitions.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or vocational/technical education in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology).
- Typically requires HS Diploma or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management.
- Manual dexterity to perform tasks associated with assembly and calibration.
