As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of educational programs for nursing staff, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills needed to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff, including orientation, training, and competency-based education.
- Conduct needs assessments and identify learning gaps to inform educational programming.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to design and deliver educational programs that meet the needs of patients and staff.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
- Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Stay current with evidence-based practice and incorporate new knowledge and research into educational programs.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred.
- Current nursing licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Minimum five years of clinical experience as a clinical nurse with demonstrated evidence of leadership progression.
- Competency in adult learning principles and a sound clinical nursing knowledge base.
