Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple client engagements, particularly those involving public housing and HUD entities, while effectively managing budgets.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients to align expectations, ensure satisfaction, and facilitate necessary changes.
  • Provide consultation and support to clients, recommending improvements in business processes.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing client internal controls and accounting practices, communicating these to management.
  • Oversee, mentor, and develop staff on various projects, conducting performance assessments for engagements and year-end reviews.
  • Engage with potential clients and collaborate with Partners to develop proposals aimed at generating new business opportunities.
  • Uphold the highest professional standards and maintain strict confidentiality with client information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
  • Active CPA license is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, specifically with public housing and HUD entities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and GAAP.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and auditing capabilities, including proficiency in US GAAP and GAAS.
