Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Merchandise Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to provide an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Execution: Ensure timely and accurate processing of merchandise onto the sales floor, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Team Leadership: Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, promoting a culture of honesty and integrity.
  • Customer Service: Engage and interact with all customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient stock rotation and replenishment.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area, ensuring compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
Benefits

TJ Maxx offers a competitive starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
