Job Summary

As a Senior Product Designer at SonderMind, you will take complex workflows and convert them into seamless, delightful experiences that drive our mission. You'll partner with stakeholders, product managers, and developers to shape end-to-end experiences from concept through release. We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of all parts of the product design process, a proven track record in designing new features, and experience iterating on existing features to create better user experiences.

About the Role
  • Design product experiences that people love to use.
  • Understand the humans using our software and create user-centered designs that optimize workflows and measurably solve pain points.
  • Work with your Product Manager to create and contribute to OKRs and Roadmap.
  • Collaborate with your team's product manager and engineers to design, iterate on, and implement features that impact quarterly OKRs.
  • Advocate for high design quality within your own work and across squads.
  • Present to leadership, peers, and cross-functional stakeholders (Leadership, Marketing, Clinical, Ops teams).
  • Define opportunities for product or feature enhancements and set design requirements by identifying user needs.
What Success Looks Like

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be surrounded by a dedicated group of talented designers. You'll hit the ground running and become familiar with our current product platforms and features, understand the product strategy and roadmaps, as well as the competitive space. After onboarding, you'll partner with a Product Manager and take ownership of UX/UI design within a dedicated product squad. Your success will be measured on your ability to design well-thought-out, human-centered solutions that are seamless experiences and composed of strong visual user interfaces.

Requirements
  • 5-7 years of dedicated experience in digital product design, including user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design disciplines.
  • A well-rounded product design portfolio with result-driven case studies.
  • Experience designing for both desktop and mobile (native and responsive) platforms.
  • Deep experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in copywriting/UX writing.
  • Strong working knowledge of design and productivity tools such as Figma, Sketch, Maze, Pendo, Loom, Jira, Confluence, Looker or equivalent.
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this role is $115,000-$145,000 per year.
