Responsibilities:

  • Provide treatment to patients according to state guidelines and under the supervision of an OTR.
  • Assist in identifying patients for rehabilitation and referring them to rehab as needed.
  • Document patient participation and progress accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Obtain MD orders for treatments, re-certifications, and discharges.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited college with a BA or associate degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by the AOTA.
  • Current license and/or registration as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in-state as applicable.
