Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated full-time Residential Cleaner to enhance the comfort and safety of our senior residents. This role is crucial in maintaining a welcoming environment.

Incentives
$500 Sign-on Bonus. Flexible scheduling is required, including some weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Ensure a positive first impression of the facility.
  • Perform cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms and common areas.
  • Restock supplies such as toilet paper and paper towels.
  • Conduct deep cleaning of apartments and communal spaces as directed.
  • Respond promptly and respectfully to residents' cleaning requests.
  • Prepare apartments for new residents by ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
  • Address any accidents efficiently while maintaining resident dignity.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition.
  • Report safety concerns or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Keep cleaning carts organized and stocked, ensuring safety in storage.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding residents' personal information.
  • Present a professional appearance and demeanor to foster a nurturing environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain integrity in all interactions.
  • Communicate with culinary staff to ensure adequate coverage for meal services.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with residents and staff.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
  • Understanding of cleaning solutions and equipment safety.
  • Familiarity with safety data sheets for hazardous materials.
  • Compassionate attitude towards elderly care.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to service excellence.
Experience and Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in housekeeping within healthcare or hospitality settings is advantageous.

Work Environment
This position involves working in an environment with residents who may have various needs, including memory challenges and mobility assistance. The role may require physical effort, including lifting and moving objects up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.
