About the RoleAs a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and support in our clinic. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with patient evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education to patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Assist Physical Therapist in patient evaluations and treatment planning
- Implement treatment plans and provide patient education
- Measure and track patient progress
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current state of Maine license or license eligible
- BLS Certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
